Rachel Bloom, MD

Rachel Bloom, MD is a board certified, fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist.

Originally from Long Island, New York, and a summa cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, Dr. Bloom received the prestigious Alumni Scholarship to attend medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Bloom has had articles published in numerous medical journals and has made presentations at medical meetings across the country.  She specializes in the treatment of pediatric and adult strabismus.

She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children.

 

Amy Lambert, MD

Dr. Lambert, a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon, is the founder of Pediatric Eye Associates, LLC. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Lambert attended public schools in Millburn before attending Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude. After receiving her MD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Lambert completed an internship at Yale University’s Department of Internal Medicine and a three-year residency in ophthalmology at New York University where, in her final year, she was selected to be chief resident of the program. Following her residency, Dr. Lambert worked as a fellow in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Indiana University, one of the nation’s top training programs for this subspecialty.

Coming home to New Jersey, Dr. Lambert established her practice in Livingston, seeking to provide the highest quality eye care for children in a setting that is comfortable and reassuring.

Dr. Lambert performs the majority of her pediatric eye surgery at the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center. She is an attending surgeon at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Institute/Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She lives locally with her husband, their twin children, and two black labs, Waldo and Newton.
